PTFA

We have a truly fantastic PTFA at West Hill Primary School. The events organised by the PTFA Committee each year contribute in a really important way to the excellent community spirit at the school. Our Headteacher, Cheryl Boulton, is President of the PTFA. Each year those who attend the AGM vote for the key members of the Committee: the Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary, but all parents are automatically members.

The following fantastic, annual fundraising events take place, which are really well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone:

  • A Christmas Dinner Dance
  • Two Children’s Christmas Discos
  • A Family Bingo event
  • Our annual Art Fest
  • Our PTFA Village Fete
  • A Sponsored Bounce by the children
  • A Summer Ball
  • A Year 6 Leavers’ Prom

Other fund raising includes: Christmas cards made by the children and printed professionally through the PTFA, a very successful 100 Club run by one of our Mums, and a mufti day to raise funds for specific items.

Keep an eye out for more information in the news section.

All of these events and activities raise much needed funds for the school, which during the last year, have been spent on:

  • ICT equipment and software
  • Art resources
  • Book bags for the children
  • Replenishment of our Library books
  • First News Class 6 Newspaper Subscription
  • Keyboards and Glockenspiels
  • Language resources
  • Squashbox Theatre production

We are very grateful to our PTFA for all their hard work throughout each year.
