Trips & Activities
During the 2007-2008 Academic Year, we embarked on a very successful healthy eating and healthy living partnership with The Jack-in-the-Green restaurant in Rockbeare. If you click on the hyperlink below, you will find details of the partnership on the ‘Jack’ website, together with pictures and details of the educational trips and follow-up work carried out so far. These include: Class 1’s trip to Darts Farm, Class 4’s trip to Quickes Farm and Class 5’s breadmaking experience at Darts Farm. The Jack-in-the-Green’s Head Chef, Matthew Mason, accompanied the children on all their trips, all of which culminated in Matthew and the children cooking and eating a really delicious, and extra healthy, meal.
